Financial Planner Reporting

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in the Finance Department.
Key Purpose Statement
The primary purpose of this role is to:
- Provide CCBSA with strong, integrated analytical insights that enables the delivery of CCBSA’s financial performance
- Support operational line managers and finance teams to deliver the required outputs
- Ensure accurate and insightful financial reporting is provided within deadlines
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
Key Dimensions
Financial/job scope - identify factors of the role such as volume, annual budget, customer contacts and any other major indicators of the scope and complexity of the job (example below if relevant).
Key Outputs and Accountabilities
- Maintain and develop a high level of liaison with the Financial Controller which includes assistance with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and governance compliance
- Prepare and generate deep analytical insights on CCBSA’s financial performance. Particularly identifying the opportunities for operational execution
- Translate overall analytical insights and analysis into detailed deliverables
- Provide a financial reporting service, including written analysis and commentaries on all financial reports, forecasts and plans
- Ensure that all reports are accurate, variances are analysed and all deadlines met
- Prepare and analyse month end reporting packs
- Generate integrated analytical insights:
- Make use of analytical methodology, trending and KPI’s as tools to generate insights
- Generate analytical insights and identify opportunities for operational improvements
- Partner with managers to execute against identified cost saving initiatives
- Identify and train operational managers on financial acumen, governance and policy changes
- To supply an advisory source, as well as collaboration with line managers, senior management and other staff, including, but not limited to ad-hoc financial reporting investigations, short-term and ongoing feasibility target assessments
- Support the compliance to the CCBSA reporting standardisation guidelines to enable accurate and reliable management reporting
- Prepare monthly and year end accounts in accordance with the Group accounting policy and information requirements
- Attendance of stock counts and ensure compliance to hard close and year end procedures
- Assisting with CCBSA HFM submissions
- Supply of ad hoc commercial competence training and support.

**Skills, Experience & Education**:
Qualifications and Experience
- Bcom Honours in Accounting or equivalent
- Article experience in Big 4 or via TOPP
- Newly qualified CA (SA) or CIMA
- 0-2 years’ operational finance experience
- Previous experience in a complex reporting function an advantage

- A high level of computer literacy (SAP/D365, Powerbi, Microsoft)
- Outstanding business analysis skills to generate business insight and add measurable value

- High attention to detail, with emphasis on accounting and reporting skills
- Detailed process and analytical ability
- Ability to work with people at various levels of the business
- Strong verbal / analytical reasoning ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise, manage complexity and deal with multiple stakeholders
