**Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in manufacturing Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Blackheath.**

**Short Summary**:
The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver products to the customers and to generate additional business when in the market. You will also be required to perform daily warehousing operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Warehouse Deliveries**:

- Daily trip sheets from Warehouse Administrator.
- Reviewing trip sheets.
- Loading of vehicles to ensure timeous deliveries.
- Leave the premises on time to complete all deliveries.
- The correct product must be checked and delivered.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and handed to the Warehouse Administrator.
- Receive and hand in all cash to the Warehouse Administrator for safekeeping.
- Work with Supervisor to ensure optimum efficiency of delivery routes.
- Empty cans and bins to be returned to Swellendam.
- **Warehousing Operations**:

- As per the Supervisor’s instruction.
- Product picking and loading.
- Product to be handled without damage.
- Stock control and general housekeeping.
- **Company Vehicles**:

- To be kept clean and faults reported timeously.
- Daily vehicle checklist to be completed and faults to be reported.
- Fuel slips are to be handed in weekly to the Warehouse Administrator.
- Logbooks to be completed weekly and diligently.
- General vehicle housekeeping to be done.

**Key Competencies**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Minimum of a Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
- Conversant in English and Afrikaans
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License is required
- Experience in Warehousing is an advantage

**Interpersonal Skills**:

- Excellent work ethic
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Must be able to work in a team and alone
- Good Time Management skills
- Disciplined and reliable
- Customer service orientated
