**An award-winning Wine Farm is looking for a SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN**

**Location: Cape Winelands**

**This is a PAID, six-month long internship opportunity.**
- Gade 12
- Qualification in marketing, media or a relevant field
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans (Non-negotiable)
- Must be an individual who takes initiative, with a drive to go the extra mile and deliver on tasks to the best of their ability
- Must have own computer and transport
- Must have an understanding of different social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook and/or TikTok
- Must have previous experience in managing social media accounts
- Be willing to respond to followers’ comments and questions after hours
- Familiarity with social publishing tools, and photography/videography editing tools (advantageous)
- Assist in the brainstorming of effective and intelligent campaigns to generate leads, grow followers, and maintain the positive brand sentiment
- Must be able to support the creation of content (captions, images, stories and short videos) for social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
- Must be willing to respond to comments and queries and engage with the community across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and TripAdvisor in a professional and timely manner
- Escalate queries to customer service or the relevant department as needed
- Be able to assist with day-to-day administrative duties
- Must be tech-savvy, up to date with social media trends and assist the team with monthly reporting

**Salary**: R5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
