Trainer - Restaurant Front of House

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Create, maintain and improve as needed all Front of House training programs.
- Customised trainings as needed on waiters, hostesses, and Induction.
- Sound understanding of all Front of House related aspects.
- Develop and implement new training systems based on the vision and goals set by the organisation.
- Recommend new methods and procedures to enhance current and operating strategies.
- Train Front of House waiters, hostesses, runners at Boot Camp and at stores daily.
- Create and maintain a schedule for In-store training and Boot Camp.
- Improve the Front of House experience, CSR & Mystery Shopper scores in all of our stores.
- Maintain the level of Front of House service in all stores through on the job training, train the trainer and store audits.
- Ensuring the transfer of knowledge has taken place - having influence as a skill
- Conducting follow-up evaluations based on previous assessments
- Tracking attendance of training per store and informing when this has not occurred

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**:

- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
- Computer skills - knowledge of MS Word, Excel - needed to update tests, create evaluations, calendars correctly, etc
- Skill level required on different methods of mixing cocktails and mocktails, and the ability to transfer this knowledge to restaurants.
- Strong communication skills.

- Self-motivated with the Ability to multi-task
