**Your role**
- Do your analytic and interpersonal skills help you figure out the value of a trade idea? Are you a seasoned trader who is savvy about avoiding risk?
- We’re looking for an execution trader to:
- keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities
- facilitate client order flow by providing liquidity through internal capital or accessing third-party offerings
- follow regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies
- manage trading, execution, operational and compliance risk, amongst others
- work closely with sales and trading teams to generate revenue and grow client business

**Your team**
- You’ll be joining an established Global Markets franchise, specifically working in the Execution team in South Africa. We trade a range of products (cash equities, futures) across the local market, and provide advice, solutions, and execution in a simple, intuitive, and flexible way. This benefits our institutional and wealth management clients. As an execution trader, you’ll play an important role in helping our clients identify and access the products and liquidity they need.

**Your expertise**
- Intellectually curious person with strong attention to detail and desire to work in team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Capabilities of independent problem solving and ability to thrive in a highly intensive and very demanding trading desk role
- Solid understanding of different financial instruments and strategies across asset classes, as well as an acumen for new business development
- Proficiency to build analysis spreadsheets for market colour and content
- Equity analysis and modelling skills, with an ability to communicate trading ideas clearly
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics, or another quantitative field
- Strong technical and quantitative background, good communicator
- Regulatory licenses to trade in the required markets in South Africa
- LI-GB
