**Job Specification**

Reporting to the Senior Manager: Procurement, the incumbent will be responsible for the procurement and optimisation of transport services and vehicles for the group.

**Minimum Requirements**
- B Degree (Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent)
- 2 years related transport industry experience
- Specialisation in transport & data analytics would be an advantage
- Advanced MS Office Excel skills
- Own transport and a valid driver’s license

**Key Performance Indicators**

**Growth**
- Establish transport services demand plans
- Establish vehicle procurement plans per financial year

**Optimisation**
- Optimise transport service utilisation across divisional boundaries
- Optimise the mix between own and 3PL transporters - optimal transport selection
- Monitor and evaluate transporter performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Proactively identify and communicate transport specific supply constraints to the business to be prepared for and to minimize transport disruptions

**Leveraging Culture & Diversity**
- Serve as the Group’s central point of contact for transport contractors and vehicle suppliers
- Develop and maintain sound supplier relationships
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to form a consolidated view of customer and business transport requirements

**Digital Transformation**
- Lead the development of IT system functionality to improve transport management as well as the recording of the associated costs to the business
- Lead the development of IT system functionality to improve fleet management benefits
