Role Purpose
Monitoring of all regulations that is required to ensure compliance with legislation by providing assurance to the Compliance Officer that the bank has adequate controls, Policies, Standards and procedures in line with legislative frameworks.
Are you someone who can:
- Provide administrative support to the Broader Africa (bA) Head of Monitoring (HOM)
- Support in the implementation of the MCOE strategy across Broader Africa
- Ensure timely completion of coverage plan as directed
- Review all compliance monitoring reviews completed by the in-country compliance teams
- Provide support to the bA MCOE team in the completion of monitoring engagements in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP)
- Responsible for all bA centre led monitoring reviews
- Monitor status of implementation and compliance with monitoring procedures
- Support HOM in co-ordinating combined assurance reviews with Internal Audit/ GIA, Operational risk and the country MCOE teams
- Co-ordinate bA compliance monitoring automated and or analytics based monitoring reviews
- Responsible for the consolidation of country quarterly MCOE reports
- Assist the HOM by compiling reports, liaising with country MCOE teams, as directed to obtain information communicate obtained information; following-up on delegated assignments; knowing when to act and when to refer matters to the HOM
- Responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of records such that they are easily retrievable; reports summarizing findings, reports of major findings, recurring issues and archer data quality based on Power BI (compliance eye)
- Co-ordinate and/or make arrangements for Compliance monitoring related training, and maintain records of the attendance registers
