**POSITION DETAILS**
- Conduct and oversee complex investigations to include criminal acts, conflict of interest, fraud, theft, embezzlement, inappropriate use of Company resources, and other substantial violations of Company policy.
- Receive tip call information and handle accordingly.
- Conduct investigations that handle non-compliance with all Company policies, including cases involving the leak of Ford Confidential and Proprietary Information, employee and supplier fraud, corporate espionage, and other significant matters may arise or become known to Global Investigations (GI).
- Coordinate investigations and develop effective working relationships with GAO (Special Investigations), OGC (Compliance), HR (People Matters), all Regional Investigations Coordinators, CIRT Forensics, Part Brand Protection, and other work partners.
- Access investigative databases and perform research as required.
- Manage Background Investigations (BI) process, conduct limited background investigations, including liaison with outside BI service providers, external law enforcement agencies, Ford Recruiting, and Ford Labour Relations.
- Assist with technical surveys regarding camera installation and maintenance.
- Preserve evidence and proprietary document control. Interview and take written statements from all parties involved in corporate investigations at all levels of the Company.
- Coordinate and maintain liaison with law enforcement agencies.
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with individuals at all levels, inside and outside of the Company.
- Identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives and recommend optimal solutions for various situations using analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Provide prompt, courteous customer service to our internal and external customers including timely contacts with employers, complainants, and others.
- Respond to physical and verbal threats in the workplace; resolve same to avoid potential occurrences of workplace violence.
- Develop, coordinate, and participate in education and training programs that focus on Corporate Security.
- Attend all mandated Global Security training sessions.
- Provide security for special assignments/special events.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA)**
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize case load with limited supervision.
- Ability to organize data and write concise investigative reports.
- Possess strong investigative interviewing skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a driver’s license and meet Company driving standards.
- CPR/AED certification.
- Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills (soft skills).
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills; ability to navigate department technology platforms.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience in a relevant field **.**:

- Minimum 7 years’ experience in law enforcement or investigations.
- Available to travel on short notice.
