- ** Valid Blasting/Rock Breaking Certificate for Metalliferous Mine**:

- ** Must have conventional development, trackless decline blasting experience, and hydropower drilling experience in a trackless mining environment.**:

- ** Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Trackless mining**:

- Proficiency in English and any other of the 11 official languages
- Have ability and skills to coach, guide, and transfer knowledge

**Responsibilities**:

- Work a circle of shifts
- Ability to plan, organize, control, and supervise the work of subordinates on trackless and in development
- Ensure safe and quality underground operations to achieve daily production targets
- Play a key role in taking charge of trackless and development blasting/rock breaking operations within the designated area of responsibility to ensure the delivery on set targets
- Responsibilities and functions include, but not limited to ensuring that all teams adhere and comply with HSE standards, procedures, and policies in order to ensure successful production
- Perform all related mining duties as may be advised from time to time by the section Mine Overseer
- Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto **:“Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely”
