Legal Typist

Our client, a law firm in Johannesburg needs a Junior Legal Typist to join their team. The successful incumbent has to possess of the acquired skill of Touch Typing (a speed of 60 words per minute) as well as fulfill certain PA duties.

Experience in the Legal Industry as a Legal Typist is not required but will be advantageous.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Touch Typing and typing as dictated to
- Diary Management and booking appointments
- Live minute taking on a big screen
- You will be privy to some financial information and will have to handle the information with care and discretion

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Matric
- PA/Secretarial/Legal Admin or equivalent certification will be advantageous

**Behavioral Competencies**:

- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Technologically equipped
- Confidence to type infront of an audience as well as to ask for confirmation or clarifications within consultations
- A sense of urgency and understanding of time management
