Our clients are looking for a Sales Executive to join their dynamic team. This person will strive to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and market penetration within a pre-determined territory by effectively marketing and selling the company’s products and services to potential clients. The core functions will include the promotion of company offerings to new and existing clients to maximize growth and sustainability.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Arrive at work at the prescribed times, correctly and neatly and professionally attired
- Establishes and sustains business relationships with current and probable clients
- Makes telephone calls and personal visits to existing and prospective clients
- Make presentations (physical and electronic) to clients as and when required
- Writes up quotations or proposals for clients
- Resolves customer complaints through an effective investigation and corrective action process
- Does research on territorial and market potential in order to target potential clients
- Manages customer value plan according to value and volume sales
- Does marketing SWOT analysis for company in order to plan and organize a sales strategy
- Submits monthly reports to management on issues such as customer complaints, competitor activities, volume sold, value of current business as well as number of prospective customers
- Keeps up to date on changes in market conditions, competitor activities, new product offerings by reading relevant literature or through electronic means
- Will be required to assist in driving the company vehicle for delivery of urgent orders or for other unrelated tasks

**Safety Requirements**
- To always comply with all company safety regulations and procedures. Any queries with regards to safety must be directed to the immediate supervisor
- PPE must be always in a good state of wear. Damaged PPE must be reported to the supervisor immediately
- Reports any unsafe conditions, equipment, procedures or acts to the Supervisor
- Must drive company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner as laid out in the company car policy
- Is required to wear the relevant PPE and follow client’s safety procedures when visiting clients

**Required skills**:

- Minimum requirement of Grade 12
- Must have training in sales and marketing
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to work in an office environment
- Must have at 3 years sales experience, preferably in a logistics environment
- Must have good knowledge of the logistics industry
- Must have a good geographical knowledge of Gauteng and SA to a lesser extent
- Must be in possession of an unendorsed code EB (code 8) driver’s license
- Must have experience in writing up quotations
- Must have good communication skills
- Keen eye for design and creativity
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to enter data, navigate screens and retrieve data in point-of-sale system
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Strong operations skills in a customer-service environment
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 3 years (preferred)
- in a similar position: 3 years (preferred)
- in Logistics Industry: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- EB (Code 8) Drivers License (preferred)
