**Tasting Room Supervisor (Durbanville)**
**Requirements**:
- Senior Certificate, WSET, Certification, Sommelier Association Training of advantage.
- Proven work experience (minimum 3 years) in wine sales & tasting room environment.
- Passionate about wine industry, firm understanding of marketing, sales & customer satisfaction.
- Fluent in English with good communication, negotiation & relationship-building skills.
- Own vehicle to travel to work, sales meetings, events & trade shows.
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays & occasional evenings.
- Sufficient in Microsoft Office, Point of Sale & Stock software programs.
- Strong leadership, administrative, organizational & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team & handle customer interaction with confidence.
- Ability to work under pressure in a diverse & fast-paced environment.
- Applicant must be outgoing, confident & well-presented.
**Duties include (but not limited to)**:
- Participate & oversee daily operational activities in the Tasting Room department (full function).
- Actively involved in day-to-day floor & back of house management.
- Represent the brand by selling wine, associated products & services.
- Present & execute exceptional wine tastings & promote sales.
- Good understanding of budgeting, cashflow management & improving profitability.
- With a positive approach, lead & work closely with the Tasting Room team.
- Participate in stocking taking & stock control management.
- Interacting with customers regarding product features & ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Respond to enquiries, requests & complaints in a professional manner within a fast turnaround time.
- Wine Club Coordination.
- Attendance at special events, trade shows, sales meetings when required.
- Attend to all general administration & recordkeeping at the Tasting Room.
- Keeping up to date of activities on the Estate & inform team.
- Providing firm support across all other departments on the Estate & to Office of CEO.
- General administrative & ad-hoc duties as requested by Management.
