Position details:

Reports to: Financial Manager
Job description / core competencies:

- Preparing the month-end accounts up to management accounts
- Investigating unexpected variances in the profit & loss account
- Reviewing monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
- Overall reconciliation of the accounts to ensure that all costs and revenues have been accounted for
- Maintaining effective financial controls and reporting structures
- Overseeing and managing the daily functioning of the finance team
- Helping the Financial Manager with ad hoc assignments
- Managing team performance
- Taking out forward cover and managing the foreign exchange process
- Preparation of budgets
- Tax returns
- Financial statements
- Group reporting (actuals, forecast, budgets, environmental, people)
- Authorising of expenses
