**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

Our client is on a mission, to educate the world packaging up the experiences of business owners into high quality video and podcast content. They don’t want to just help them build their brands, and realise many of the corporate benefits, no, they want more, they want to give everyone the opportunity to learn, and better their lives through education. And they recognise that the way to do that is to create captivating content. Working with the experts in their fields we not only help them build their brands with powerful marketing assets, we also create content that helps others better their lives.

The Video & Podcast Editor/Motion Graphics Designer will have a strong portfolio with a range of editing styles, be accountable for creation of innovative motion graphics and visual effects from scratch. The main skills you need are video focused, being able to keep people’s attention and visualise the skills and experience that we capture to keep people watching and learning. A bonus skill would be the ability to edit podcasts into clear crisp audio, but don’t worry as we can teach this if you don’t currently have the skills.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Edit video content focusing on YouTube, using motion graphics and other methods to visualise what is being said
- Understand YouTube, and what makes a successful video on the channel. They want you to be up to date with the platform but to be forward thinking, they want to become trend setters not just followers
- Understand project objectives, different clients have different styles and they like to find our clients style to create them content they love. This includes assisting in selecting appropriate audio, graphic, and animation styles for the projects
- Encode, convert, and edit videos and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest graphic design techniques
- Understand the power of podcasting, with the ability to edit, or to learn to edit podcasts into highly captivating episodes, then using this valuable content to make social media shorts and podcast trailers
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and design standards

**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Professional experience in motion graphics and video editing ideally with experience with YouTube content
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects, having experience on Adobe Audition would be a bonus
- A expert level of English both written and verbal
