Service Advisor

OVERVIEW:
Thorp Tableview, a proud member of the Thorp Motor Group, currently has a vacancy for a Service Advisor at our branch in Tableview
- **Duties / Responsibilities**:

- Fully responsible for the total customer management process in the service area
- Greet customers in such manner that it creates a positive self-image and of the dealership using their particulars to demonstrate a personal interest with the customer
- Assess the service needs by capturing the customers’ concerns (utilize function testing, test drive or test technician as required)
- Promote the sale of Labour/parts and or accessories according to customer needs or history of the vehicle
- Document the services needed by providing written estimates for labour and parts and specify payment responsibilities
- Record clear instructions for technicians; specify required labour options on the job card.
- Obtain the necessary authority for the work on vehicles to be completed
- Maintain contact with the customer about estimates, timing and appropriate additional maintenance and repair services
- Resolve complaints and concerns
- Provide a “single contact” for satisfaction of customer’s needs
- Achieve high level of customer satisfaction and confidence to increase loyalty
- Check progress of repair orders throughout the day
- Ensure that the required CSI of Thorp and the relevant OEM is maintained at all times

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Minimum of 5-year experience in a customer retail experience or a customer environment would also be taken into consideration.
- Computer & Business system knowledge and product knowledge would be an advantage.
- Must be target driven.
- Work independently & be self-disciplined.
- Code 8 Drivers licence
- Good communication and people skills.
