Position Description:
**Senior Manager - Store Development**

**Isando | Permanent**

**The opportunity**:
**A great opportunity has become available for a Senior Manager with the TFG Store Development team.**
**The successful incumbent will report directly into the Head of Business for Store Development and will be accountable, empowered and take ownership of the below KPI’s;**

**Responsibilities**:

- Store development for all Value trading brands
- Capex values budgets allocated to new, relocation, enlargement, reduction, revamps, rollouts and other associated store needs within disciplines handled by Store Development
- Store build rates and Capex cost efficiencies (return on investment capital)
- F & F value engineering and initiatives to give value return to Value trading segment
- Manage internal and external design and PM teams associated to the Value brands
- Sign off and approval on BIM, SAP and Coupa procurement and project builds
- Manage required standards of Value brands procured equipment and store builds
- Relationship management of Brand MD’s, Ops, Marketing teams and external suppliers. Coordination and relationship management with landlords and internal TFG stack holders
- Allocation of project build timelines including development notifications and SD Program within contractual lease agreements
- Source, evaluation, take-on and management of new suppliers that meet Value Brands segment and price point
- 2IC to Head of Business for Store Development (part of succession planning for the department)
- Coordination and relationship management with Landlords and TFG stack holders
- Member of Store Development EXCO management team

**Requirements**:

- Completed Matric or a tertiary qualification in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Design Degree in related discipline/ Industrial Engineering
- At least 8 - 10 years previous experience in Property, Construction Project Management or Senior Operations Management
- Property Development or Retail Operations background
- Strong human capital skills, communications, budget control, supplier/ contractor management and negotiation
- Able to work independently/ self-starter
- at all levels both within Group and external suppliers
- Excel, SAP (Coupa training will be given on site), Microsoft Projects or BIM management experience
