We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable **Entry-Level IT Catch and Dispatch Agents** to join our IT operations team.
This opportunity is ideal for recent school leavers who are eager to start their careers in the IT industry. The role involves shift work on a 24/7 rotation, and is office-based. Full training will be provided.
You will be responsible for receiving, logging, and assigning IT-related service requests to the appropriate technical teams, ensuring smooth and efficient communication between users and IT support staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Categorize and prioritize incoming tickets according to set procedures
- Dispatch tickets to relevant IT support teams for resolution
- Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely follow-up and updates
- Communicate with end users to provide status updates or request additional information
- Escalate unresolved or high-priority issues appropriately
- Maintain thorough records of all service requests and interactions
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to work shifts on a 24/7 rotation, including weekends and public holidays
- Must be able to work from the office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and teamwork skills
- No prior experience needed - training will be provided
**Advantageous**:
