Regional Manager

A position exists for a **Regional Manager** stationed at the Philippi FSS Branch in Cape Town reporting to the General Manager and Regional Executive. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient day to day running and management of the region.
**Experience, Requirements and Qualifications**
- Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- PSIRA Grade A registered preferred, Grade B can also be accepted.
- Valid Driver’s License with own reliable transport is required and essential.
- At least 10 years’ experience in the Security Industry.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Operational Security Management at a very Senior/Executive level.
- Working knowledge of the Firearm Act and Firearm competency for Business Purposes.
- Staff management experience is required.
- Experience in sales and marketing would be an advantage.
- Experience in budget development and management required.
- Computer literacy with expert knowledge of the complete Microsoft package.
- No criminal record or any pending cases.
- Sound planning, administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.
- Positive reference checks from previous employers or clients required.
**Key Performance Areas: (Not totally inclusive)**:
- Management of Area Managers and ensuring that all personnel matters are dealt with promptly
- Ensuring that due process is followed regarding the submission of quotations for purchases or repairs
- Ensuring that all operations comply with the standards and procedures required by the ISO quality management system
- Submission of monthly and quarterly reports as required by Management
- Oversee the operational wellbeing and Management of the branch.
- Responsible for all Company Assets (vehicles, radios, computers, firearms, ammo etc.)
- Ensure that all Clients are visited regularly by Area Managers/Operations Managers by scrutinizing the monthly Security Reports.
- Responsible for all expenditure at Branch level (repairs, fuel, telephone, stationary, radio’s, etc.)
- Responsible for all Financial Management and Budgets at Branch level.
- Responsible for new business at Branch level.
- Responsible for all HR and IR relations at Branch Level.
- Ensure that all clients are visited as per SLA Agreements.
- Attend meetings with Clients
- Ensure that all National Contracts are serviced according to Service Level Agreements and that monthly reports are completed and submitted timeously.
- Ensure that HQ support structures are complying with the requirements from branches i.e. Wages, Pay Queries etc.
- Do regular performance evaluations with Operations Management.
- Develop staff / succession planning.
- Ensure that GOOD GOVERNANCE is upheld at all times.
- Responsible for staff, duty rosters and training
- Evaluate staff on performance regularly - KPI’s
