Claims Handler

We are an independent insurance brokerage based in the North Durban Area, seeking a claims consultant to join our team.

Working within a team of claims technicians in the short-term insurance field, handling personal & commercial claims from initial reporting and registration, through to finalisation of the claim, including TP claims and recovery actions.

Sound understanding of commercial and industrial short-term insurance with at least 2 years industry experience required.

Dealing with professional clients will require strong business language writing and communication skills i.e. conflict handling, negotiation

Proficient in all MS office programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Previous experience with insurance systems

Minimum matric with NQF 4 qualification and FAIS Compliant.

Regulatory Exam would be an advantage

Salary range depending on experience

Pay: R15 000,00 - R19 000,00 per month
