**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles (trucks or buses) with a Code 10 or Code 14 license in compliance with traffic rules, regulations, and safety standards.
- Load, secure, and unload various types of cargo, ensuring proper distribution and adherence to loading guidelines.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip, reporting any mechanical issues or deficiencies to the maintenance team.
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules, considering factors such as traffic, road conditions, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and other relevant information using logbooks and electronic tracking systems.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, fellow drivers, and customers to provide updates on delivery progress and address any issues that arise.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery and pickup locations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as all transportation regulations, including weight restrictions and vehicle dimensions.
- Respond calmly and effectively to unexpected situations such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, and inclement weather.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver's license with PDP
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, with a clean driving record and no history of serious traffic violations.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations, with the ability to prioritize safety at all times.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interactions with team members, clients, and other road users.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting, and the ability to perform minor repairs when necessary.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules, complete paperwork accurately, and keep detailed records.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to company guidelines and protocols.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and unexpected challenges.
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude when representing the company to clients and the public.
