**about us**:
**purpose**:
The Coverage Analyst (“CA”) provides a sales and client origination capability within their sector and regional teams, in order to optimize the team’s understanding of the sector and clients within the sector. The goal is to equip Sponsor Solutions with information to better manage the portfolio and also anticipate opportunities that impact the sector and its clients. The role performs market, sector, product and client research and develops meaningful insights that inform client management strategies. It also monitors & analyses existing client accounts as well as various groupings of client portfolios in order to review & highlight client behaviours, business and service performance as well as client responsiveness to various product feature and/or pricing changes. It performs sales fulfilment for new clients and manages the sales pipeline from sales to implementation stage. The CA also monitors and ensures the complete delivery of client service functions actioned by the Client Services Manager. Travel to our Africa regions to train and support in country analysts and coverage bankers in the use of coverage tools and implementation of coverage disciplines, including MIS support for in country teams.
