**Client Overview**:
Our client, a well-established player in the debt collection industry, is recognised for its effective strategy in managing collections for a diverse clientele, including public and private institutions throughout South Africa. Based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, our client prides itself on its professional standards and approach to debt recovery. They are in pursuit of a Projects Manager - Debt Collection, to fill a senior full-time role to be based on site. This position is ideally suited for individuals with leadership experience in the debt collection field, seeking to ascend to a strategic level within an organisation.

**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent client service and maintain prompt and professional communication.
- Provide strategic leadership to the debt collection team to ensure target achievement.
- Implement and refine effective debt recovery strategies for optimal efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant legislation, enhancing the firm’s compliance and ethical standards.
- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, utilising superior communication and client management skills.
- Employ advanced analytical and data processing skills to inform strategic decisions, with proficiency in Excel and familiarity with specific collections systems.
- Availability for after-hours work as necessitated by the role’s seniority and operational demands.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity within the debt collection industry, aiming for a senior role.
- In-depth knowledge of South African debt collection legislation.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with a proven ability to motivate and guide a team to exceed goals.
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans, with proficiency in other South African languages as a bonus.
- Expert analytical and data processing skills, especially in Excel and industry-specific collections systems.
- Strong understanding of tender processes in the public and private sectors.
- Commitment to high ethical standards and integrity in professional conduct.
