Patient Liaison Officer

Jackpersad & Partners are the largest independent Radiology Group in KZN providing advanced radiological imaging.

We are looking for a professional and competent **Patient Liaison Officer** for our **Mt Edgecombe Venue**.
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience of using online systems and PC literacy
- Experience of working directly with customers/ patients

**Duties**
- Assist Radiographers/ Sonographers and doctors with transmission of images
- Discharging patients, handing out correct x-ray
- Assist with translation if possible
- Be available to accompany Doctor/s for examination and chaperone male Sonogarphers
- Patient care and to advise patients of waiting times for examinations and reports
- Transporting of patients to and from the wards and trauma department
- Assist with answering of telephones

**Skills Required**:

- Highly computer literate
- Ability to multitask in busy and challenging environment
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalis
- Excellent communication skills (English and speaking isiZulu would be advantageous)
- Knowledge and experience of working with an online patient system e.g RIS and ICD10 codes will be advantageous
- Familiarity with medical terms
