Your key* job* responsibilities as the **DevOps Technical Lead **in **Cape Town** will include:

- Implementing cost-control strategies
- Maintaining and improving existing infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and security
- Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployment
- Collaborating with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems, and procedures, and data security
- Optimise architecture for maximum speed and scalability
- Provide training and guidance to team members on AWS technology, systems, and software

Requirements for this **DevOps Technical Lead** **job** in **Cape Town**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree preferred
- AWS Solution Architect certification is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Lead
- Extensive experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, AGW, VPC, Cloud Front, IAM, Certificate Manager, Redshift, and EKS
- Proven experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- In-depth understanding of networking and database architecture, security, open source technologies, business processes, and web services
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to project manage
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
