Brake and Electrical Fitter

The Brake and Electrical Fitter is responsible for the installation of braking systems and electrical components on trailers.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Evaluate the job specification, BOM and trailer to identify parts/brackets/kits needed for installation.
- Conduct inspection on brake kits to ensure all parts are received for fitment of pneumatic brake or electrical system.
- Report any discrepancies in kits, fitment, design that influences your work in fitment of pneumatic brake or electrical system.
- Install pneumatic brake or electrical system according to design layouts and technical specifications.
- Conduct inspections on pneumatic brake or electrical systems to ensure the installation is correct and functioning.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**

Matric (Essential)

±2 years Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a focus on brake & electrical fitting

Technical Training in Brake and Electrical (Beneficial)

Knowledge of air brake systems and trailer wiring standards.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
