Documentation Specialist

Ensure accurate implementation and release of information and ordering documentation.
- Compile and maintain all aspects of bills of material for new and existing bus body models.
- Run, check, and validate “gross requirements” for local part ordering before release.
- Research manufacturing order queries, shortages, excess parts for both proto shop and production.
- Update MAN production periods.
- Perform the workstation’s update & update the bills of material and specifications accordingly.
- Create modification notes, specific chassis (GB updates), and technical information.
- Assist with the fulfilment of engineering activities and backup as required.
- Cancel and regenerate bills of materials for chassis flexibly on SAP.
- Ensure CAD information is up to date on both Magic and SAP.
- Create part numbers, Baukastens, sales groups, PreMark-ups & Kundenbaulists on Magic.
- Perform supersession & update revision levels on Magic.
- Perform cost evaluation between bus specifications.
- Create dummy chassis on Magic.
- Create amendments as per bus specifications.
- Edit part material on ESA.
- Update revision levels on ESA.
- Review and analyse SD order in comparison with Magic bill of material.
- Review and analyse Idoc results.
- Create part numbers from other plants live for bus plant on ESA.
- Review and analyse information on ESA order header and solve errors accordingly.
- Understand and implement contract opening/amendment accordingly.
- Perform supersession & maintain parts master on ESA.

**Qualifications**:
Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.

Recognition of prior Learning (RPL) or experience in the current field will be considered.

Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering.

**Experience**:

- Experience in the same/similar role - 3 years.
- Technical experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment - 1 year.
