**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Maintenance in and around the camp
- Maintenance in and around the staff quarters
- Including but not limited to Electrical, Plumbing, and Building etc.
- Meticulous in starting and completing projects
- Assist around the camp in other departments as required
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Driver when required

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Valid RSA Driver's License and PDP**
- **Grade 12**
- **A tertiary electrician-related qualification**
- **South African Identity**

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5-star lodge environment
- 5 years proven experience as a Maintenance Assistant Manager or similar role
- Experience with air conditioners
- Electrical knowledge is a must
- References will be contacted
- Must have an eye for detail
- Excellent technical skills with a sound knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly maintenance practices is desirable.
- Proficiency in English (additional language skills are advantageous).
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Experience in managing and supervising a team of maintenance personnel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address urgent issues with composure.
- A commitment to ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction through well-maintained facilities.

**Package**:

- R15,000 per month - Salary is negotiable depending on qualification, experience and references

- 21 days on7 days off work cycle
- 15 days of annual leave
