**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Follow all assembly process documents and standard operating procedures to accurately assemble truck chassis using tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and cranes. This includes installing components like the frame, axle, suspension, and brake systems, ensuring each part is correctly positioned and securely connected.
- Perform wiring and installation of the electrical system, ensuring all circuits are neatly laid out, function properly, and comply with electrical safety standards.
- Conduct self-inspections during the assembly process to identify and correct any quality issues, such as misaligned parts or improper torque on bolts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly store tools and parts, and regularly remove debris to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Always follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Matric/ Grade 12 qualification
- 5 years of work experience in truck production
- A valid Code 10 or 14 driver's license is preferred

- Comprehensive understanding of automotive mechanical systems and the various vehicle systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair procedures
- Expertise in hand tools and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Able to work independently in a team
- Good listening and communication skills
- Good time management skills
