- Ensure that all the required input for month end is done correctly and timeously
- Prepare and/or upload monthly journals, ensuring timeous and accurate processing
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timeously
- Prepare VAT calculation and manage submissions
- Calculate and prepare finance lease reconciliations
- Ensure that financial debtors are invoiced and debt collected on time
- Ensure a clean financial debtor age analysis
- Ensure that monthly tracking schedule has been updated to ensure completeness of reporting
- Ensure an updated register for all DTI records and renew as and when required
- Assist in general ledger maintenance & master data - dimension 1,2,3
- Assist in all aspects for audit queries and documents required
- Identify opportunities to improve processes
- Review and maintain SOP’s on an annual basis

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Matric
- B.Com Degree/ Relevant Post matric finance qualification
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a large sized organization
- Experience of and ability to work on large information (accounting) systems
- Analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Self-starter and self -motivated
- Sense of urgency
- Prioritizing and planning
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment
- Detail oriented
