**What you will enjoy doing**
- You ensure compliance to legal requirements with respect to the testing of the cylinders and accurate completion of test reports in the Gas Test Station
- Accurate completion and responsibility for the contents of test report as confirmed by signature and the acceptance or rejection of each cylinder inspected
- You ensure all the necessary checks as required by the quality management system has been completed
- You are trained on the procedures for cylinder testing
- Furthermore, you ensure that the correct standards are being used for the type of cylinders being tested, equipment is checked and in a serviceable condition before being used

**What makes you great**
- You possess a minimum qualification of grade 12 certificate and at least 6 months’ test station inspection and testing experience (within the last 3 years) and experience in inspection and testing gas cylinders against the applicable specifications
- Knowledge and training on manual handling of cylinders is essential
- You are familiar with the general requirements of standards and regulations for cylinders inspected and tested by the Test Shop, which is SANS 1825, SANS 10019, ISO17020 and SANS 18119, and LiDAP chapters specific to container maintenance and cylinder testing
