**Helderberg Wine Route**: An esteemed wine estate, sporting an upmarket restaurant, boutique and wedding venue has a vacancy for a Reservationist to join their dynamic team.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Manage reservations for the wine estate's restaurant, guest house, and wine offerings
- Coordinate reservation schedules across multiple departments.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the estate's amenities, including dining options, wine varietals, and guest house features, to assist guests effectively.
- Provide training to Boutique casuals on how to operate the POS.
- Complete weekly cash up by pulling Micros report and comparing it to sales captured on the POS.
- Create monthly sales report indicating consignment / purchased stock sold.
- Monthly stock-take and stock purchasing for Boutique.
- Administrative and financial tasks relating to the various units.
- Assist with hospitality events as required.
- Diary management, including arranging and coordinating meetings for various departments.
- Create restaurant function sheets and ensure that these are properly managed.
- Setting up special events, dates, and deposits on Dineplan.
- Update hospitality sites as required with new offerings.

**Criteria**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a reservationist role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanour - proficiency in English is a must.
- Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software.
- Knowledge of wine and culinary offerings, as well as local attractions and activities, is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, based on operational needs.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to guest service.
- Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, wine, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
