**Our Client, one of the most prominent groups of companies in SA is looking for a Data Engineering Lead.**

**The Group is well diversified with operating entities in R**etail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Fintech and as a result, they have one of the largest and most complex data sets in Africa.**

**This person will be leading a team that designs and build data solutions that enable data-driven decision support, to optimize business decisions and processes.**

**Requirements**:

- MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, Engineering, etc.
- Experience in the management of technical teams
- 6+ years of relevant experience within the field of data engineering/software development.
- Proof of prior projects and value delivery in portfolio through implementation
- Valid driver's license
- Fluency in a programming language (Python, SQL)
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks (_**GCP,**_ Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to R1,000,000.00 per year
