- Solving of technical problems to provide and efficient environment for service implementation
- Conducting tests and generating test results including the reporting thereof
- Participate in maintaining the quality management system and accreditation
- Provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members
- Ensure that all administration and reporting is kept up to date
- Provide excellent customer service by meeting and exceeding client requirements and requests
- Provide customer with technical advice; detecting and diagnosing new / possible problems and disseminating advisories, warnings and new techniques
- Ensure the weekly / monthly testing schedule is studies timeously to be able to prepare equipment, consumables and worksheets for the tests
- Report non-conforming testing equipment or any other non-conformances or customers complaints / queries to the Quality Manager and Service Manager
- Participate in maintaining the quality management system
- Maintain all aspects of the Service Department quality system

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Grade 12
- B-Tech Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering advantageous
- Knowledge of testing International and/or National testing standards in the clean room, biocontainment and laboratory industry
- Independently working in this field for 2 years industry specific experience within a laboratory environment or similar
- Working experience in Biosafety Level 3 and 4 Laboratory
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer Literate
- Valid driver’s license and passport
