Qualified CA (SA) with two years post articles experience

CGMA
Qualified CA (SA) with two years post articles experience, accounting and supervisory experience in the healthcare industry would be advantageous but not a requirement.
Very good SAP experience (AP, AR, Fixed assets and clearing unmatched payments from Bank to Invoices in SAP).
Ability to review key reconciliations.
Review, post and release journals and payments in SAP.
Analyze and investing variances between actual and budget and provide meaningful, value adding comments.
Ability to learn industry specifics i.e. related healthcare terminology.

**Financial Management**
Responsibility for day to day and monthly financial management of the associated region.
Supporting and providing financial insights and feedback to assist the Regional Business Manager.
Effectively manage their region in a sustainable & profitable way.
Implementation of financial principles across all commercial and client requirements.
Proactive & monthly management of debtor management under support of central offices.
Collation & provision of monthly financial reporting in a timely manner to support the business.
**Effective people management**
Demonstrate visible leadership in respect of company values, operating model and strategy. Actively sponsor company initiatives and projects as it relates to the business. Actively participate in MANCO/Head Office meetings. Actively lead and manage F&A and HOD feedback meetings and ensure participation from all parties to achieve strategic objectives. Recruit, retain, motivate and develop staff according to company people policies and practices.
**Accurate financial reporting & analysis**
Review monthly balance sheet reconciliation files, manage general ledger close off adjustments and manage people and processes to adhere to reporting deadlines. Analyze variances to budget and as compared to prior year comparatives, report on Regional and Head Office performance, identify problem areas and take remedial action with staff and Enabling functions as required. Actively participate in new business costing and client tender processes.
**Effective budgeting**
Participate in strategic planning to identify Capex projects, develop financial model for proposed Capex plan with regional management and enabling functions and assist CEO in developing motivations for Capex projects.
Develop operating budget, ensure final budget presented matches approved parameters, ensure sign off of budget by management and communicate approved budget to all regions.

**Effective management of internal controls**
Prepare annual internal control review checklists and manage the internal control environment within the business unit.
**Effective governance and risk management**
Manage compliance with the executive constraints per corporate governance, report deviations and act where necessary.
Manage compliance with all company governance processes, including but not limited to, the submissions of capex requisitions, sign-off of bad debt write-offs and analysis and comment on stock take results.
**Effective quality management and customer relations**
Achieve and improve quality metrics, continuously monitor and measure processes to maintain and approve same and actively lead and promote company quality drive. Manage data integrity and compliance to company protocols. Develop and maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, conduct feedback surveys to monitor relationships and service levels, identify trends and implement remedial actions.
