This will be a full-time position at a reputable audit firm situated in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape.

The role is for an Audit Supervisor or Assistant Manager, depending on qualification and experience.

The overall objective of this role is the supervision and management of various aspects of audit assignments, overseeing and performing planning and field work, and coaching and mentoring Trainee Accountants.

This role will report to the Audit Manager.

Remuneration: Market related, depending on qualification and experience.

**Requirements**:

- SAICA articles completed
- SAICA accredited accounting qualification
- CTA / PGDA completed and having already written ITC (advantageous)
- Experience in mentoring SAICA trainees
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Good clear communication skills
- Task orientated / deadline driven
- Proven track record of successful execution of project management of audit engagements
- Microsoft Office experience
- Caseware experience (advantageous)

**Responsibilities**:

- Key responsibilities will include, inter alia, Supervision and Management of:_
- Audit engagements with a strong focus on deadlines
- Ensure audit engagement files comply with international standards on auditing
- All aspects of audits, relevant to portfolio of clients, are completed inter alia:

- Kick-off meeting prior to engagement
- Pre-engagement list
- Planning of audit
- Fieldwork
- Review of audit
- Finalisation of audit
- Delegate duties to subordinates and provide training
- Develop, train and coach Trainee Accountants
- Prepare client portfolio budgets and forecasts
- Review and monitor client portfolio WIP
- Review and monitor audit budgets
- Supervising and managing client portfolio
