- MANDATE- Prepare teaching and study materials for the learners. Deliver tutorials and practicals in Mathematics and Science incorporating a variety of teaching methods and approaches.

- **COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS**-
- Degree/ Diploma, any related or equivalent qualification in Mathematics/ Science.
- Minimum of up to 7 years’ experience teaching and marking in Mathematics and Science at the Grade 12 level.
- Grade 12 examination marking experience.
- Computer literacy: Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to identify and address learning gaps.
- Knowledge of CAPS, the South African education system and curriculum development.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and empowering learners to reach their full potential.
- Ability to innovate and adapt to new ways of working.
- Must be able to be part of a team and learn from the team-
- **PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT**- Performance is monitored regularly at both an individual and a team level, in accordance with the CDC’s performance management system and control measures relevant to the position.
