Business Architect

One of our clients wants to grow their Team and we are looking for a Business Architect.

**Objective of this Scope of Work**

The Business Architect will work under the guidance and direction of the Enterprise Architecture division and the leadership of the Lead Business Architect, in collaboration with the other architects assigned to the programme as well as within the EA division, and work closely with Programme Manager, Project Managers, the Business Analysts, and the Business End Users to deliver Business Architecture for the Currency Management Department to support the NCMS Strategic review.

In this context, the Business Architect will deliver the necessary artefacts for the NCMS Strategic Review according to the Business Architecture approach and standards, which is based on the Business Architecture Guild’s BIZBOK®. The artefacts will also be modelled in the SARB Repository according to the EA metamodel. The typical artefacts will include a Stakeholder Map, Ecosystem Model, Business Model Canvas, Business Motivation Model, Value Stream Map, Business Capability Map, Value Stream/Business Capability cross-map.

**Scope of Services Definition**

Perform a CMD stakeholder analysis and document it in detail.
- Based on the stakeholder map, compile a Business Ecosystem Map for CMD.
- Compile a Value Map to define the value created and captured by stakeholders.

This
- also includes products and services.
- Define Value Streams for CMD.
- Identify and define the Business Objects as well as the Information Map.
- Based on the Business Objects, define the CMD Business Capability Map (level 1
- in accordance with the existing SARB Business Capability Map.
- Create the Value Stream / Business Capability cross-mapping.
- Define the Business Motivation Model, based on the CMD strategy.
- Define the Business Model Canvas.
- Compile a Relation Map.
- Perform a heatmapping.
- Compile a roadmap.
- Facilitate all sessions with business stakeholders, including all review sessions and
- sign-offs of all deliverables.

All the above shall be modelled using the ArchiMate modelling notation, according to the SARB Metamodel using the SARB Repository (i.e., BOC Group’s ADOIT), following the Business Architecture practice standards.

Furthermore, the business architect is expected to align to the SARB EA principles, standards, patterns, methods and frameworks that further supports the strategic goals of the department, to ensure business and IT alignment.

**Minimum Qualification Required**:

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Management OR equivalent,
- A minimum of seven to ten years’ experience in an Enterprise Architecture and Business Architecture environment.
