The company’s extensive service offerings include on-pack product identification solutions including self-adhesive label systems, coding and labelling equipment as well as self-adhesive products suitable for businesses and homes.

Pyrotec seeks a hardworking and motivated Stores Assistant for our Cape Town branch.

**Requirements**:
Matric
Stores/warehousing qualification (advantageous)
2 - 3 years’ stores or warehousing experience
Excellent communication and organising skills
Computer literate
Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
Strong administration skills
Ability to run, manage and maintain the Johannesburg store efficiently and effectively
Forklift license (advantageous)
Duties

Receive and record all goods received in accordance with relevant procedures as well as ensure no goods arrive or leave the premises without the relevant documentation.
Issue stock on presentation of the correct records as well as record the issuing of stock
Manage and control the security of the stores area ensuring only authorised persons have access as well as ensuring the gate/door is kept closed at all times.
Ensure all stock received from suppliers and customers are captured, placed in correct bin locations and communicated to all
Correctly issuing machines, spares and consumables according to the picking list
Ensuring the returning of stock not used is updated on the system and placed in the correct bin
Ensure all machines are securely strapped and packaged according to relevant procedures
Maintaining all stock records, preparing stock reports and assisting with quarterly stock counts
Ensure housekeeping of the stores area is neat and in an orderly fashion
Conform to all the necessary health and safety requirements
Perform any ad hoc duties as set out by your manager/ supervisor
