**Your Role**:
As a Setup Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. You'll be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to our operations, all while working under the guidance of the Setup Manager. Here's a glimpse of what your day-to-day will entail:

- Masterfully operating and configuring POS equipment, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
- Updating documentation such as Work Instructions and Tool Configurations to reflect current practices.
- Demonstrated ability to independently set up and change over equipment within specified departments, ensuring top-notch quality and timeliness.
- Proactive problem-solving in collaboration with senior support staff to resolve technical issues swiftly.
- Uphold impeccable standards of cleanliness and order in your workspace, contributing to waste elimination and housekeeping efforts.
- Collaborative teamwork to achieve departmental and corporate objectives, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Prompt escalation of any challenges to Team Leaders for immediate attention.
- Effective communication with internal teams to address technical problems and new installations.
- Coordination with various departments to streamline processes and ensure preparedness for customer engagements.
- Staying on top of POS system updates, ensuring the latest security patches are applied.

**What You Need**:

- A valid Matric certificate.
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Networking, and Cloning Tools.
- Hands-on experience with renowned brands like HP, Dell, and Hisense in POS hardware.
- Capability in supporting and troubleshooting POS systems efficiently.
- An individual who is punctual, presentable, proactive, and physically fit for the role's demands.
- Excellent communication skills paired with an interpersonal prowess.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while being reliable and eager to learn.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.
