Our consulting client is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their Employee Benefits team in Johannesburg.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical advice to clients regarding employee benefits, including statutory and accounting valuations and all related fund/corporate services
- Wider employee benefits consulting to funds and their sponsoring employers
- Valuations under various accounting standards, including IAS 19, US2, GRAP 25 AdGAAP, IFRS hoc actuarial projects for clients
- Strong focus on business development across Africa
- Assisting with tenders and proposals Internal model development and maintenance
- Adhere to quality control procedures Performing market studies & research

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 years employee benefits actuarial experience
- Experience with wider employee benefits consulting would be an advantage
- Demonstrable knowledge of employee benefits regulations and legislation across the wider African continent would be an advantage
- Experience in VBA, R or Python coding would be an advantage
- Strong actuarial technical skills (including good progress with the exams)
- Good communication skills Strong work ethic and highly motivated
- Ability to work to a deadline and give regular feedback on progress
