- Grade 12 or equivalent is required
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, information systems or similar qualification is preferred
- Applicable professional qualification, e.g. Microsoft, Comptia, etc.
- Mikrotik Certification an advantage
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years working experience with IT systems, networks and relate technologies
- Minimum 3 years working experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
- Solid knowledge of IT administration and system security
- Experience with establishing, updating, and managing an Asset Registry
- Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g., POPIA)
- Knowledge of VOIP, Fibre, ADSL networks, CCTV, with Shared APN being an advantage
- Proven track record with contract management
- Work experience in a retail or related industry an advantage
