We are looking for a dynamic medical copywriter and social media assistant to join our Cape Town-based office.

**About Us**

Avily is a leading marketing company specialising in healthcare marketing. We started our business to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare professionals. Our office is based in Kenilworth, Cape Town, and we offer a hybrid working environment that allows for remote and in-office days.

**Key Responsibilities**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Write compelling and engaging copy for various digital platforms, including websites, social media and blogs
- Research and understand complex medical topics and distil them into clear, concise language for the general public
- Develop social media content strategies and create content for clients’ social media channels
- Collaborate with other members of the team to develop messaging and brand voice for the client
- Ensure all copy is accurate and medically sound and adheres to regulatory guidelines
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

**Experience and Education Highlights**
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in digital copywriting, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to communicate complex medical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Google Suite, Grammarly, Canva and Meta Business Suite
- Knowledge of social media platforms and experience creating content for social media

**Job Type**:Full-time

**Salary**:R13,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Copywriting: 2-4 years (required)
- Social Media Marketing: 1-2 years (preferred)
