Supply Planner

Historic Wines of the Cape requires a dynamic person with a strong logistic background to join the Team.

*oversee supply chain planning

*manage processes for new and existing products

*provide support in developing seasonal demand/supply forecasts and anticipate customers reactions to the promotions and discounts

*develop supply forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends

*liaise with customers, sales team, and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy

*maintain supply plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demands

*update sales team about product availability

*address supply related queries and issues in a timely manner

*identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans

- relevant qualification
- 5 years of experience in a similar position
- excellent organising skills
- fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
- professional appearance and conduct
- strong working discipline with ability to handle pressure
- experience in the wine industry will be advantageous
- motivated and energetic person
- ability to take ownership of work
- excellent problem solving skills
- advanced excel skills
- navision experience will be advantageous
