To own, analyse, architect, design and implement Platforms, Services and Systems regarding ALL IT and Cyber security aspects and security solutions in support of the organization.

**Key Tasks & Accountabilities**:

- **Architect Cyber Security solutions and any supporting infrastructure in alignment with organizational goals and constraints**:

- Design and implementation where strategic and appropriate.
- Define strategic goals and tactical plans for Cyber Security solutions and systems.
- Perform Architect peer reviews.
- Consult on Cyber Security solutions architecture and Infrastructure Architecture.
- Conduct research and development (R&D).
- Document security architecture and systems.
- Document security architecture engagement prerequisites (initial and complete).
- Compile security architecture policies.
- Compile security architecture standards and best practices.
- Take ownership of the security solution SDLC (management of the delivery as it relates to the security infrastructure and solution)
- ** Design validation of Cyber Security solutions and any supporting infrastructure**:

- Mentor team members.
- Compile and maintain design review and sign off checklists.
- Review and sign off designs
- ** Architectural support of Cyber Security solutions and supporting infrastructure**:

- Provide architectural support.
- Participate in root-cause analysis reviews when applicable
- Participate in Architecture panels and COP.

**Minimum Experience**
- IT and Cyber Infrastructure architecture
- Architecting and designing IDP and Related technologies.
- Security Principles, Cyber Security procedures and Best Practices
- Experience delivering systems on at least one of the following Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Strong design and hands on troubleshooting background on at least one of the following Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Experience with authentication and authorization technologies and protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, AD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Advanced scripting skills in at least one interpreted language (Bash/PowerShell)
- Understanding of Cloud Security technologies and best practices.
- Understanding of Networking in cloud environments.
- Project Management principles and processes
- Application design principles
- Ethical hacking and penetration testing

Ideal:

- SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and/or ECA (Event Correlation and Analysis) Systems
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Cloud Architecture (e.g. Azure & AWS)
- Understanding of Zero trust, EDR, IAM, CIAM, CSPM, SAST, DAST, WAF, DDOS technologies
- Experience in supporting and enhancing build and release processes through automation using a combination of processes and existing tools.
- Messaging and Collaboration technologies and architecture
- Database Firewalls, Web Application Firewall
