Toothworx Dentistry is a dynamic and forward-thinking practice based in Secunda, committed to delivering comprehensive dental care. We are seeking a dedicated and professional locum dentist, to join our team on a fixed basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive dental care, including routine exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other general dental procedures.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation meets HPCSA standards.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-procedure care.
- Ensure adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Supervises as needed dental assistants and support staff to ensure excellent patient care delivery.

**Performance Improvement Functions**:

- Leads and participates in dental initiatives to improve the quality and safety of the practice care delivery model.
- Is accountable for ensuring the practice dental care standards meet SADA and HPCSA requirement.
- Engages support team on improvement methods for patient retention and overall practice efficiency.
- Understands the practice mission in all performance function areas.
- Demonstrates commitment to and understanding of service excellence standards by modelling excellence in internal and external relationships, addressing service deficits and performing all duties and responsibilities in the position.
- Demonstrates a caring and helpful attitude when interacting with patients, vendors, and fellow employees.

**Requirements**:

- Graduate from a South African Accredited dental school.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry (BChD or equivalent).
- HPCSA registration (Essential).
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in general and specialized dental practice.
- Willingness to work part-time on a fixed locum basis.
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday to Friday, 8h00 to 17h00
- One Saturday per month, 8h00 to 14h00

To be discussed during the interview process.
