Plant Pathology Researcher

Oro Agri, a member of the Rovensa Group, manufactures and markets biocontrol solutions in the Agricultural sector. An excellent career growth opportunity exists for an R&D expert who will conduct research focused on the development of biocontrol solutions, design and execute trials for evaluation and screening of novel biocontrol solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Protocol design for efficacy testing of biocontrol solutions
- Setting out trial timelines for efficient execution
- Development of methodologies for efficacy screening of biocontrol solutions
- Practicing and developing testing techniques for novel experiments
- Execution of laboratory and pot trials
- Liaise with Industry, Academia, and Industry organisations
- Attending workshops or collaboration projects with Universities and industry organisations (locally and internationally)
- Training and technical support to Development and Marketing teams

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualification (e.g. MSc or PhD in Plant Pathology)
- 3-5 years’ experience in the agricultural sector with relevant focus in plant disease management
- Experience with soil-borne diseases and a background in IPM would be an advantage
- Strong organisational skills
- Detail oriented
- Innovative mindset
- Code B Driver´s License

A market-related remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience.
