Good risk and control management is the foundation of excellent performance and is a characteristic of a high performing business. We are seeking a manager to support and drive the strengthening of our risk and control environment, specifically in managing and maintaining our Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework. The role will also play an active role in delivery of various risk management activities including risk assessments, control reviews and key indicators.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, develop, adapt and maintain our Risk Management Framework in line with external industry developments and best practice in relation to the Asset Management industry.
- Deliver related risk management activity including:

- Comprehensive and proportionate risk assessments (financial crime and operational) in accordance with local regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
- Independent thematic reviews and control testing.
- Identification and development of risk related data and reporting.
- Maintenance of risk policies, manuals and guidelines.
- Actively contribute into the continual enhancement of our ‘Risk Assessment’ methodology and approach.
- Support the Risk Assessment and Framework lead and Director, Risk & Control to ensure plans and outputs suitably and efficiently inform stakeholders and Chief Risk Officer, including recommending proportionate solutions.
- Provide Risk Management Framework Subject Matter Expertise.
**Skills / Experience**:

- Must have at least 2 years experience in a relevant risk management role.
- Must have theoretical knowledge and practical experience of a Risk Management Framework.
- Demonstrable experience of:

- Performing risk assessments
- Performing thematic reviews and control testing.
- Identification and use of data and metrics and reporting.
- Creating and maintain policies, manuals and guidelines.
- Ideally will have a qualification in Risk Management through an industry recognised body is preferred.
- Ideally will have experience of Alternative Asset products and Fund Administration services and processes.
- Strong analytical skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills - written and oral.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to work on your own and in a remote team and reprioritize your work stack to suit changing business priorities and tight timelines.
- Ability to learn and understand key business processes, internal controls, and develop meaningful assessments.
