**Job Title**: Preschool Teacher (Ages 3-5)

**Job Summary**:
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 3 to 5 years. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, supervising daily routines, and ensuring the well-being and development of each child under care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and collect children at the gate each morning.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks in accordance with school guidelines.
- Supervise and assist with cleaning up after meals and activities.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that support early learning and development.
- Supervise and guide children during indoor and outdoor playtime to ensure safety and positive social interaction.
- Prepare children for nap time and ensure a calm, restful environment.
- Assist children in getting ready for collection at the end of the day.
- Conduct lesson preparation and maintain classroom organization and resources.
- Complete and update children’s workbooks and other educational materials.
- Evaluate student progress, prepare developmental reports, and write termly comments.
- Maintain open communication with parents, colleagues, and management.
- Uphold school policies, safety procedures, and hygiene standards at all times.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Relevant Early Childhood Education qualification or equivalent.
- **Valid SACE registration number.**:

- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow school routines effectively.

Pay: R7 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
