Job Specification (not totally inclusive) Responsible for administration for HR Operations department; Guiding line managers in developing job descriptions for their subordinates and liaise with Compensation and Benefits department in ensuring that positions are analyzed and evaluated; In partnership with the business required to develop interview formats based on relevant job profiles and to conduct interviews using the appropriate interviewing skills and techniques; Providing Employee Relations guidance and support to employees and Business unit/ line managers; Responsible for assisting line management in establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with organized labour; In partnership with Learning & Development department, identity training needs for employees and ensure that training interventions are executed efficiently. In consultation with Learning and Development department ensures that learning and development is linked to performance and ensuring that employees have IDP’S. Minimum Skills required Post matriculation qualification in Human Resource management or related field; Must have at least 3-5 years Human Resources Management experience; in a unionized manufacturing environment; Knowledge and experience on SAP/R3 HR and Kronos system would be an Advantage; Proficient in Microsoft Office suit ( especially Excel and PowerPoint); and Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport. Behavioral Competencies required Must be a self-motivated individual with effective organizational skills; Have strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse constituencies; Have sensitivity to individual and ethnic differences; and Demonstrate a "Sense of Urgency" in meeting employee needs and delivering products and services in accordance with the procedures and guidelines.
