We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our client's dynamic team in the mineral processing industry. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our plant's mechanical and electrical systems. Your expertise in conveyor systems, pumps, and mining equipment will be vital in maintaining the plant's efficiency and reliability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, including conveyors, pumps, crushers, and other mining equipment.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Conduct inspections of equipment, document findings, and generate detailed reports on maintenance activities, performance, and recommended improvements.
- Collaborate with the plant manager and engineering team to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Monitor equipment performance and reliability, analyzing data to identify trends and optimize maintenance practices.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and equipment servicing as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
- Participate in training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in the Mining / Plant industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical background with hands-on experience in conveyor systems, pumps, and mining equipment maintenance.
- Solid understanding of inspection and reporting practices, with the ability to generate comprehensive maintenance reports.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a plant environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
